Divine Mercy and Divine Grace

John 3:16-17 " For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him."

Please pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet everyday for the forgiveness of our sins and the sins of the whole world.

Today as I was driving I started to reflect on the Celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy that will be held tomorrow. In every sense of the word I need that Divine Mercy more and more each day. Yet, there is always that still small voice that reminds me that Divine Mercy is infinite. It is wider and deeper and higher than the totality of the Universe. Of course that thought blew my mind. The whole story of the gospel is the story of the Divine Grace of the Trinity. Jesus, emptied Himself to become like His creation a Man. He allowed Himself to be judged by His own people, condemned to death, whipped, tortured, crucified, suffer death, and in triumph rise from the dead. For us and our salvation He endured this.

His mercy gives us the feast of thanksgiving, the Holy Eucharist! The host really does become through the intercession of the Holy Spirit, the body and blood, soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ! We can offer the remeberance of this sacrifice to God for His mercy on us and the whole world. What a blessing.
So tomorrow as you think about this at Mass enjoy with thankgiving the real presence of Jesus, knowing that around the world people are praying for the Divine Mercy of God on us and the whole world!

God Bless, Todd
