Divine Mercy and Divine Grace

John 3:16-17 " For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him."

For all who need healing

“I AM YAHWEH-ROPHE”

“He said, 'If you listen carefully to the voice of Yahweh your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am Yahweh, who heals you.'(Yahweh Rophe)”Exodus 15:26

YAHWEH ROPHE

Name in English Translation: the LORD who heals you
Hebrew name: Rophe – [ro' phay]
What it means
Rophe means to heal. All through the Old Testament God and sometimes His servants heal. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ and His disciples heal.
Usually, healing is associated with God. Elijah is said to have healed the alter of the LORD (1 Kings 18:30). And the Word of God is said to have healed the people from their afflictions (Psalm 107:20).
Rophe healing is most often associated with physical healing. The household of Abimelech was rophe healed from barrenness so they could have children again (Genesis 20:17-18). Miriam was rophe healed from leprosy (Numbers 12:13). The people of the city of Gath were rophe healed of tumors (1 Samuel 6:3). King Hezekiah was rophe healedd from his illness (2 Kings 20:5-8).
Rophe healing also applies to other things besides people. Elijah rophe healed the alter (1 Kings 18:30). God can rophe heal the land (2 Chronicles 7:14). Elisha said that Yahweh rophe healed the water so it was wholesome and drinkable (2 Kings 2:21).
Rophe healing is most often associated with the physical healing of people. But it also applies to conditions of the human heart. The LORD Yahweh rophe heals the broken hearted (Psalm 147:3). Broken hearted means that your deepest feelings are made into separate parts. Your continuity of feeling is broken.
The LORD Yahweh God rophe heals backsliding (Jeremiah 3:22). Backsliding means to go back to my old (bad) ways of acting. The implication is that at one time I was acting in a way that please the LORD. That I know the difference between good and bad, right and wrong.
The LORD Yahweh rophe heals people from uncleanness (2 Chronicles 30:20). LORD Yahweh can rophe heal the uncleanness of the soul. This is the initial rophe healing that we all experience when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Jesus rophe heals the heart and soul of sin.
Another interesting concept related to rophe healing is that Yahweh sometimes wounds me so that He can heal me. Sometimes He needs to wound me to get my attention. Once He gets my attention, I can confess my sins and restore my relationship with Him. Then He can rophe heal me. Here are some examples. When the Philistines took the ark of God, He wounded them with tumors. Then He healed them (1 Samuel 6:3). Isaiah said that the LORD heals the wounds he inflicted (Isaiah 30:26). Hosea explained that “the LORD has torn us to pieces but he will heal us;” (Hosea 6:1)
David said that being afflicted was a good thing for him (Psalm 119:67,71).

Romans 8:1-5King James Version (KJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

MATTHEW 7:7-11 NKJ
7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
8 "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
9 "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
10 "Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Thank you JESUS!

Displaced Christians Desperately Seek Prayer

Pray that safety, strength and life-sustaining provision
be made available to the suffering people of Iraq.

As a ruthless militant group sweeps across the country and leaves devastation in its wake, Christians are urgently seeking prayer for their homeland. Militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham (ISIS), an extremely violent offshoot of al-Qaeda, have gained full control of Mosul.
Historically known as Nineveh, the city is the traditional heartland of Iraq's church. The vast majority of Christians there, up to 1,000 families, are said to have joined the exodus of around half a million residents fleeing the desolation. The army has also reportedly fled.
According to Canon Andrew White, a partner of VOMC, the situation is extremely volatile. "Things are so bad now in Iraq; the worst they have ever been. Most of our people come from Nineveh and still see that as their home. Now the Christian centre of Iraq has been totally ransacked. The tanks are moving into the Christian villages, destroying them and causing total carnage."
The concerned ministerial leader further explains that ISIS has "totally taken control, destroyed all government departments, allowed all prisoners out of the prisons, killed countless numbers of people...." The resulting devastation is heartbreaking, for he adds, "There are bodies all over the streets."
Hundreds of thousands of displaced Iraqis have fled to Kurdistan to escape this humanitarian crisis.
In the midst of such unimaginable suffering and chaos, let us bring this deplorable situation to the throne of our Almighty God, with the assurance that He is ultimately in control of this world. Pray that He will greatly use His people to extend peace and grace to those struggling and in pain. Ask Him to provide for the immediate needs of the many thousands of refugees, also granting long-term solutions that will lead to the country's peace and stability. Finally, pray that the militants who are waging this ruthless violence against the innocent will repent and come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Luke 4:17-21New International Version (NIV)

17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
19     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”[a]
20 Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. 21 He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Romans 3:24-26New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)

24 they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a sacrifice of atonement[a] by his blood, effective through faith. He did this to show his righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over the sins previously committed; 26 it was to prove at the present time that he himself is righteous and that he justifies the one who has faith in Jesus.[b]
