Divine Mercy and Divine Grace
John 3:16-17 " For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him."

The last 5 days. Book of Job repeat
The last 5 days.....
As you all know this has been a week of disaster for our friends in Japan. Such loss and such tradgedy it seems as if all hell had broke loose upon that nation. As we view it we can from our heart say "LORD Have Mercy, Christ have mercy, LORD have mercy" on those people, send your angles to help them, may all of the saints pray for and intercede for them and their salvation.
It can seem overwhelming, but then someone comes along to remind us of who God is. It is a small thing for Him to fix this and He will. He will not turn away from our prayers of mercy for all who have been affected by so much in such a short period of time. We can read the book of Job and see this repeated here in this situation where it happened not only to one person, but thousands. In all of this the answer seems so complex, but Scott Hahn pointed out the importance of the Eucharist, the feast of thanksgiving and how it is available now to all in need. Christ comes to us everyday in all the tabernacles of the world with mercy in His heart and mind. He desires that we come to Him in intercession for all and for every need. He alone is truly able to make things right.
Quite frankly this whole thing had simply overwhelmed me. As I am getting near 50, I realize how precious and fragile our lives are. Some things the technology and intelligence of man can not control and affect. The following are simply figures, but show how insignificant our efforts without Jesus can be.
9.0 Earthquake
hundreds of aftershocks (smaller earthquakes)
30 ft. Tsunami traveling at 500mph wipes out over 100 miles of coast an hour later reaching 6 miles inland.
The island of Honshu (800 miles long) sinks 2 ft. and moves 8 ft. to the east!
Thousands dead and missing
Tens of thousands homeless
Hundreds of thousands evacuated
3 Nuclear power plants leaking radiation and still not under control
Millions without power or clean water and food
Millions trying to give them aid hindered by no roads or railroads.
Whole towns erased in an hour. Truly a repeat of Job and like Job only God can make it right again.
This sounds like a horror movie or something out of the book of Revalation; and yet here we see it in real life. May Mary and all the Saints pray for these people and may Jesus have Mercy on them.
