Divine Mercy and Divine Grace

John 3:16-17 " For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him."

So much need for mercy! Will you pray??

There is so much need for mercy today, will you pray???

It doesn't take much thought to realize how much need is in the world today. Not just the obvious with the disasters in Japan, New Zealand, Chile, and Haiti; but also the massive needs of people who's nations are being torn apart by war and change. Egypt, Lybia, Algeria, Tunisia, Yemen, Bahrain just to name a few. Then there is the list of needs that never seem to go away: abortion, debt, hunger, homelesseness etc. It can be totally overwhelming. In the midst of all of this is the Church!
Holy Mother Church is helping in each of these countries through missions and prayer. Through physical works of mercy and throuh spiritual works of mercy. Many of us have already given money or time to help. On the spiritual side the need for prayer never ceases. We have been given powerful weapons to defend the cause of the opressed with. These include the Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the Stations of the Cross. Our prayers do have affect and can be considered acts of Mercy. Today as you go about your life, please lift up in prayer those you know and love, those who have been brought to your attention, those who you think about. Intercede for them and immerse them in the abyss of Christ's mercy.
He told St. Faustina" Proclaim that mercy is the greatest attribute of God. All the works of My hands are crowned with mercy." (Diary, 301)

"My daughter, speak to priests about this inconceivable mercy of Mine. The flames of mercy are burning Me-clamoring to be spent; I want to keep pouring them out upon souls; souls just don't want to believe in My goodness." (Diary, 177)

"My love and mercy knows no bounds." (Diary, 718)

"Tell aching mankind to snuggle close to My merciful Heart, and I will fill it -with peace.

Tell [all people], My daughter, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I fill it with such an abundance of graces that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to other souls." (Diary, 1074)

Pray for everyone for this wonderful mercy to fill their lives and may God bless each and everyone of you. Todd
